Relaxation is always a healthful thing, and the great thing is that we can do it anywhere, at any time, that we begin to feel out of sorts, anxious, etc.
One thing we always begin with first when teaching relaxation and healthful coping strategies. We encourage the following method.
Breathe in slowly through your nose for 4 counts.
Hold the breathe for 4 counts.
Breathe out slowly from your mouth for 4 counts.
